Julia Lee

About Julia Lee

Julia Lee began creating jewelry in 2006 when introduced to artistic vintage jewelry designers such as Miriam Haskell. Sister and antique store owner, Kristy Lee, provided initial beading instruction and after attending further schooling in jewelry design techniques, she was inspired to create vintage-style items with a personal touch using today's quality supplies. The jewelry designs are inspired by Julia's love of nature and every attempt is made to incorporate that beauty directly into each piece. Having lived much of her life near the ocean and then relocating to the Sierra National Forest near Yosemite National Park, she strives to imitate the absolute beauty of nature with ocean and forest themes. She specializes in vintage "Carmen Miranda"-style fruit jewelry pieces, which have been featured in Cosmopolitan, Elle, Fashion, and Foam Magazines!
